Do old books have any value? I love old books. I walked into a old book store a few weeks ago and it just breathed knowledge. Have you ever looked through a copy of an old addition Moby Dick. There is just some mystique about old books.

Old books have any value because they are valuable as history windows. Old books have the ability to take us back in time and to relive the past.
2. Knowledge
Old books have any value because they hold the wisdom and knowledge of our past. With out old books we don’t have a civilization and as the saying goes those that do not learn form the past are doomed to repeat it.
3. Art
Old books have any value because they don’t make them like they used to. Pick up a 1900 edition of Oliver Twist and you can see the artistry and craftsmanship that these old books.
4. Relevant
Old books have any value because they are still relevant. Old books are timeless. The wisdom and morals they convey are still applicable today as they were in the time of Jane Austin or Herman Melville.
5. Imagination
Old books have any value because they lift the imagination. With out old books we don’t have any inventors we are not able to lift and succeed as society. So because we have these old books we do have the advancements in technology and society that we do.
Old books have any value because they totally relay our ability as a culture to communicate in writing and to pass valuable information that way.
