Financial Independence It Ain’t Hard
If you look up the definition for Financial Independence or Financial Freedom it is where work is optional and leisure is affordable. Most people don’t believe that they can attain that ultimate goal of Financial Independence in life. The reality is Financial Independence Ain’t Hard.
At this point I would recommend reading two books The Millionaire Next Door and The 5 Lessons a millionaire taught me. Both have great information of what a millionaire really looks like, and it isn’t what you think.
There are 5 things that most people who are financially independent have in common.
1. Planning. I can promise that if you asked Bill Gates, Michael Jordan and plenty of others who have achieved success and money in life the planned on it. Here is the difference that they have between people who don’t achieve.
They write a plan down and then they visualize it and repeat it on a daily basis. They do this knowing that they are going to achieve what it is that they desire and that was financial independence.
They also did not limit themselves. They have a can do attitude knowing that in their minds that they were going to achieve what is that they desired.
2. Frugality. A major factor to keeping the money have is not spending it on frivolous things. That is the main financial crisis we live in today is that not enough people control their spending. If you learn the meaning of frugality and how to keep what you already have, then and only then will you be able to achieve the financial independence you desire.
3. Smart Investing. Learn how to invest in multiple things. If you look at millionaires the world over. They usually have portfolios in real estate, stocks and mutual funds, and run their own businesses.
4. Education. This can mean formal or non-formal. But the idea behind this is continually educate yourself on how you can improve you mental capabilities in order for you to keep and make money.
5. Work hard. Wealth is 10% smarts and 90% hard work. Out of 222 billionaires in the US 21 of them did not finish college and a couple did not even finish high school. The fact of the matter is the harder you work the more likely it is that you will see money come to you. Earning Wealth is not a lazy sport it does not just come to you. Put the work in and it will reward you.
